Follow all precautions to maximize safety.1. Read all instructions and familiarize yourself with the operating procedures BEFORE you begin. Be sure to note any precautions in the instructions. 2. Read, be familiar with and maintain a file of all MSD Sheets for all chemicals and test reagents. Keep the MSD Sheets readily available in a central file and at the point of use. 3. In the event of a suspected poisoning or exposure to chemicals, follow Section 8 (First Aid) of the MSD Sheet, then immediately call Emergency Medical Information at 1-800-326-0026 or call your physician.
BE PREPARED TO GIVE THE CHEMICAL NAME FROM THE MSD SHEET. 4. Keep all chemicals out of reach of children.
5. Avoid contact between chemicals and skin, eyes, nose and mouth.
6. Wear safety goggles and gloves when handling chemicals.
7. DO NOT eat or drink anything while working with or around chemicals.
8. ALWAYS WASH HANDS THOROUGHLY AFTER HANDLING OR USING TEST REAGENTS OR OTHER CHEMICALS. 9. Rinse chemical containers before disposing.
