Monday inspection - At the beginning of each week the following tasks must be completed before pool opening 9 am.

Pool Filter Inspection
a. We recommend to backwash the pool and spa filters at least every Monday based on flow meter and pressure readings. If heavy bather load is expected, filters may need to be backwashed more frequently.
b. Check flow meter readings to ensure proper turnover times as required by your local and state health codes.
c. Check filter pressure and backwash if reading is 15 psi or higher than normal clean reading.

Chemical Tests
a. Perform all water tests including chlorine, pH, alkalinity, cyanuric acid (outdoor pools only), calcium hardness, phosphates and salt levels (follow specific guidelines of test kit).

Chemical Inventory
a. Check inventory levels of salt, conditioner, accessory products and test kit reagents. Reorder if necessary.Store chemicals in a separate storage area in their original or properly marked containers.

Equipment Inspection
a. Check for any pump leaks and report to engineering department for repair. Pump room floor should be dry and free of debris and obstructions.
b. Ensure pump room is clean and free of debris or trash.
c. Check safety equipment in pump room for proper working order. Always follow your local and statehealth codes.

Pool Cleaning
a. Vacuum pool.
b. Brush pool.
c. Clean tile. -
Log all water tests, chemicals added and complete "Onsite Staff Daily Pool Checklist."

Notify pool manager of any problems found during inspection.
